Introduction to the Change4life - PPA partnership
The PPA is delighted to be a national partner of the governments Change4Life campaign which encourages families to 'Eat Well, Move More, Live Longer'. In 2009, the first year of the movement saw the PPA run a campaign under the Play4Life sub brand. In September in over 80 member centres, PPA operators ran incentivised entry offers and promoted two of the key Change4Life messages... 60 Active Minutes and Up and About
"The PPA's Play4Life campaign was supported by BRITVIC SOFT DRINKS"
In September, PPA members offered reduced price entry offers for the whole month and the campaign promoted the benefits of indoor play using the tag line "Exercise in Disguise" - a phrase which has been coined by the PPA to describe the hidden health benefits of indoor play. Play centres are fantastic safe and secure environments in which to play and learn with your children as well as a great form of physical activity.

The Change4Life campaign is probably the most exciting goverment supported initiative to hit both the energie-in sector and all of us in the energie-out sector. The PPA's play4life campaign will provide family based, fun, social play for children of all ages - it will also promote to parents the benefits of children playing and how indoor play provides "Exercise in Disguise".
