Play Providers Association (PPA) to Partner with Euro Attractions Show (EAS) London 2011

The Play Providers Association (PPA) has today announced an exciting new relationship with the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) Europe for Euro Attractions Show (EAS) 2011, in which will take place in London from the 27th- 29th September. The two organizations have announced plans to host the Play Providers Conference and the PPA ASPIRE Awards, the centre piece of the annual indoor play calendar, at EAS.

With the Euro Attractions Show coming to the UK for the first time, the PPA felt it was a great opportunity to partner with a vibrant attractions exhibition to be held at the iconic Olympia halls and to thus profile the UK sector to our European counterparts.

Speaking about the plans for the show Karen Staley Executive Director, IAAPA Europe commented “Going to London for EAS 2011 is a natural progression for IAAPA and the Euro Attractions Show. With our new relationship with the PPA and a large number of attractions in the United Kingdom it is, without question, an ideal place to take EAS.”

"EAS will provide an exciting exhibition for the indoor play sector and so it was a natural step for the PPA to link our conference and award this year"

The PPA will be releasing the speaker line up for its educational conference program in June as well as booking information for the 4th annual ASPIRE awards which the PPA is hoping will top 200 industry guests this year. Speaking about the decision to move these key PPA events this year Kate Costin PPA Association Manager commented “EAS will provide an exciting exhibition for the indoor play sector and so it was a natural step for the PPA to combine our conference and awards dinner with the show and make EAS the platform for indoor play operators to come together to grow and develop ideas in running successful centres. The PPA is keen to provide indoor play operators with an event that educates, excites and provides ample networking opportunities and we are all looking forward to EAS this year and would encourage all operators to put the dates in their diaries”.
