Aims and Objectives

Promoting, developing and protecting the interests of all businesses engaged in providing enclosed play

The Play Providers Association represents all businesses engaged in providing
enclosed play facilities as defined in BSEN1176/x. Its aims and objectives include:

  • To work in partnership with the API.
  • To work continuously towards the adoption and implementation of the standards which apply to their industry
  • To encourage all play providers to join the Association and participate in its work
  • Represent play providers on appropriate standard committees
  • To establish a networking forum for play providers

  • Members of the Association have committed themselves to maintain a high quality of service and safety to the user of businesses engaged in providing enclosed play facilities as defined in BSEN1176/x.
  • Members must have an annual safety audit carried out by a competent inspector and/or a post installation inspection if a new facility
  • Members must have all appropriate insurances in place as defined in the Criteria for Membership.
